It is important to always take into account our mental health. Often during our darkest or busiest days we lose site of that aspect of our lives. We tend to put more emphasis on our physical being and not the mental. Mental health can create fear in us because were afraid to be judged and labeled. The truth is that at least 52 million people live with some kind of mental illness in the U.S. It is more common than we like to believe and this is why it important to learn to embrace it as opposed to hide from it. Creating healthy coping mechanisms and boundaries will keep us safe and healthy.
